Since its foundation, Re Depaolini has focused on quality, combining tradition and innovation, the two faces of the real luxury. Just the fusion of experience and research can answer to the constant evolution of fashion, still offering timeless products.

Rede is capillarily present on the national territory, that absorbs him 80% of the production. It commercializes collections with the followings marks: for the detail, Rede Class and Redepaolini (stockings man), Rede Fashion and Rede Classic (stockings woman), Rede (girl and child), Rede Sport (customs from bath man), Shana Milano (t-shirteria and hosiery woman). For the categories wholesale and GDO, Rede (stockings man woman and child) Rede Time (stockings man / woman / child).

From 1996 to today Rede Group has gained the certification of quality UNI EN ISO 9001.

Our History

1938

THE BEGINNING

At the early age of 27, Mario Re Depaolini founds his own company, loacated in an old and abandoned spinning mill. The first Rede tights for women are realized. Beside Mario, there’s the young Carla Musazzi.

THE CHALLENGE
A BIG FAMILY

In 1944 Mario and Carla get married. By now Re Depaolini is an expanded company/huge factory. Mario travels around the world to confront himself with foreign techniques and business. In the meantime the company lands the European and American markets. Wool and nylon join the production, always respecting the company high level standards.

MANY CHANGES

The Rede stockings debut on the catwalk during the first fashion shows. Research and innovation never stop: Mario patents the nylon edge and 600 Bentley machineries for the nylon weaving make their entrance into the factory. Beautiful legs dressed Rede star the first advertising campaigns. In 1964 Carla Musazzi becomes the company CEO, after the premature passing of her husband Mario.

WOMAN IN REDE

Carla’s determination and intuitions make the company even stronger: Rede socks conquer the main markets and the advertising campaigns depict a charming and self confident woman, who reminds to the big screen divas. Ernesto Marazzini, Carla’s nephew, joins the company.

THE REVOLUTION
NEW PERSPECTIVES

The production of stretch lycra stockings is an immediate success: production raises to 40 thousands pairs par day. In 1988 opens the historical and cultural museum Carla Musazzi. Re Depaolini creates new brands to satisfy the dynamic consumers’ life: Shana is dedicated to feminine products, RedeClass is the classic line for men and RedeSport opens the production to T-Shirt and bathing suites.

2000

THE FUTURE IS NOW

The new millennium begins with the launch of Redepaolini, a brand dedicated to the latest trends of fashion. Carla’s grandnephews Giovanni and Michele join the company, bringing a fresh sensitivity towards the present and a modern approach to the management, basing it on an open dialogue between the public and the company.
